Isa 63:16b-17, 19b; 64:2-7	Why do you let us wander, O LORD, from your ways, and harden our hearts so that we fear you not? Isa 40:1-5, 9-11	Comfort, give comfort to my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her service is at an end, her guilt is expiated; indeed, she has received from the hand of the LORD double for all her sins.
Ps 85:9ab+10, 11-12, 13-14	Lord, let us see your kindness, and grant us your salvation. I will hear what God proclaims; the LORD—for he proclaims peace to his people. I rejoice heartily in the LORD, in my God is the joy of my soul; for he has clothed me with a robe of salvation and wrapped me in a mantle of justice, like a bridegroom adorned with a diadem, like a bride bedecked with her jewels.
