* Kathleen: How do we know if we are making a good confession?  I know it is all based on the 10 commandments. We are told to confess only our mortal sins.  Sometimes we say I didn't commit mortal sin, but in fact we are breaking the 10 commandments and don't realize it.

Questions from Ladies of the Lord

Edited

  • Do you think Mary is the "Bridge" between Muslims and Christians?
  • Why don't many of the priests and nuns in the West follow the directives of the Pope? Isn't that a grave sin and in doing so aren't they leading many on the road to perdition?
  • At least 2 generations made their confirmations with little or no understanding of the Real Presence in the Eucharist. Do you think this has contributed to the lack of use of sacrament of confession and for a great many leaving the Catholic Church?
  • Could you say something about the reason the Media is so bent on bringing down the Catholic Church?

From Renee

  • From Renee via e-mail:
- Where in the Bible is Purgatory referenced?
- Will there still be an opportunity for souls to go to Purgatory when or after Christ comes or will His coming allow only a "yes or no" to heaven?
  • From Renee via e-mail: Today, so many people say “I don’t have to go to confession. I go directly to God.” What does the Bible say about this? What does the Catholic Catechism say about this?
- Matthew 9:8
- Matthew 18:18
- John 20:21-23
