Cheese dreams

Mom and Dad used to make these as snacks from time to time.

Buttered toast

Velveeta or the like

Bacon

I guess the bacon may have been cooked first, then placed on top of the cheese and the toast and heated under a broiler until the cheese melted.

I usually make cheese dreams for myself when prosciuto or ham or salami or, in rare instances, cooked bacon is available. I just stack everything on a plate in the microwave and nuke it.

Some results are better than others.

I have never produced anything that I thought was inedible.

Of course, my standards of edibility are quite low and easily achieved. :o(
