Nestorianism

This is a teaching that there are two persons in Jesus, one human and one divine.

There is no metaphysical union between the human and the divine in this view. I like to think if it as "a boy and his dog." Where one is found, there is the other.

Many modernists are essentially Nestorian in their christology.
